Il a finalement re\u00e7u un diagnostic d\u2019un pneumologue qui a confirm\u00e9 \u00e0 la fois une fatigue post-virale et une asthme r\u00e9activ\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Recevoir le diagnostic, c\u2019\u00e9tait comme \u00eatre frapp\u00e9 par quelque chose de lourd. Soudainement, il \u00e9tait clair que cela ne partirait pas de sit\u00f4t.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Les interventions pharmaceutiques offraient peu de soulagement et entra\u00eenaient souvent des effets secondaires d\u00e9sagr\u00e9ables. Il a essay\u00e9 diverses approches\u2014certaines ont aid\u00e9, d\u2019autres non. Lorsqu\u2019il fonctionne bien, il aide \u00e0 faire passer le corps du mode combat ou fuite au mode repos et digestion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mais dans la fatigue post-virale, cette r\u00e9gulation peut \u00e9chouer. Recherche en <em>Frontiers en neurologie<\/em> (2024) et <em>Nature Reviews Neurology<\/em> montre que l\u2019inflammation virale peut perturber la fonction vagale, entra\u00eenant fatigue, brouillard c\u00e9r\u00e9bral, instabilit\u00e9 autonome et pens\u00e9es anxieuses persistantes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Lorsque le nerf vague est enflamm\u00e9 ou qu\u2019il pr\u00e9sente des rat\u00e9s, le corps agit comme s\u2019il \u00e9tait sous menace constante. Celles-ci lui ont donn\u00e9 des moments de calme et de clart\u00e9. Pour la premi\u00e8re fois depuis des mois, je me sentais stable. Cependant, ils n\u00e9cessitent une chirurgie et peuvent co\u00fbter des dizaines de milliers de dollars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, les chercheurs ont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 des moyens de stimuler le nerf vague <strong>de mani\u00e8re non invasive<\/strong>, en particulier \u00e0 travers une branche qui court pr\u00e8s de la surface de l\u2019oreille\u2014une m\u00e9thode appel\u00e9e <strong>Stimulation transcutan\u00e9e du nerf vague auriculaire (taVNS)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un tel dispositif, d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 sur 10 ans par la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de neurotechnologie <strong>Parasym<\/strong>, a rendu cette technologie plus accessible.
